This book is an eighth edition, however it is an international edition. The problems don't match up to the United States version. The book is basically worthless to me. When I purchased it the ISBN matched up, and the product details did not mention that it was an international edition.

One of the best 18 Oct. 2015

Having seen various textbooks across various disciplines, this may be one of the best. Really anything by Yunus Cengel is good. Explanations are clear. Examples are thorough and aren't overly simplified like other text books. Practical applications to topics are worked into each chapter. I would definitely recommend this book to any one taking a thermo course.

but I don't think there's a better basic thermo book out there 4 Dec. 2015

I'm not going to pay to check, but I don't think there's a better basic thermo book out there. Though in hind sight, I should have cheaped out and bought the functionally identical 7th edition (though property tables have been ever so slightly updated since 7th ed).

Great review mterial 12 Feb. 2015

This book was a big help last year, it's the reason why I passed my board exam. The contents are arranged correctly and has all the formulas especially in Thermodynamics. So if you're looking for a good review material, this book is the answer.
