Orbital ATK is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to be a technical contributor on various projects. This position is located in Mesa, AZ.

Position Summary:
Orbital ATK’s Armament Systems Division has an exciting opportunity for three (3) Mechanical Design Engineering Interns within the Armament Systems Division. The position is based in Mesa AZ. In this role you may be a technical contributor on various projects. You will work with other engineers, technicians, program managers and administrative personnel to accomplish your objectives. The expected starting date for this position is 5/23/2016.
Specific responsibilities/experiences include, but are not limited to:
- Contributor on DoD development programs.
- Perform and manage your own small project
- CAD modeling of mechanisms and mechanical systems, assemblies and components.
- Presentation of assigned work at program technical reviews, proposals, or other technical meetings
- Oversight of design, fabrication and testing of components and assemblies related to defense-related products
